MONTANA
LAW ENFORCEMENT TESTING CONSORTIUM
The Montana Law
Enforcement Testing Consortium is a group of Law Enforcement Agencies
that has formed for the purpose of coordinating the application process,
share costs for administration and testing, provide for consistency in
the selection process, evaluate candidates, and provide the most
qualified candidate for the position of peace officer for member cities
and counties.
Candidates will pay a
fee of $35.00 to test with the consortium.

Glasgow

Great Falls
, City of
Havre
, City of
Helena
, City of
Laurel

Lewis & Clark
County
, City of
Lewistown
, City of Miles City and
Valley
County
have joined the consortium.
Testing will consist of
the Police Officer Selection Test from Stanard and Associates and the
MLEA Law Enforcement Officer Basic Course physical fitness test.
The qualified candidate will be eligible for one year from the
date of successfully completing the tests.
Once a person is hired by one of the participating agencies,
their name will be removed from the qualified candidate pool.
